WELCOME TO THE VILLAGE
DENMAN'S MAJOR VISITOR ATTRACTION
TOP OF THE HUNTER VALLEY - NSW

The philosophy of the village is for the exhibits to be genuine, informative and the experience a “real” one. You will be met by local volunteer staff who are available to walk and talk through the more interesting items on display, sharing stories and anecdotes passed down through those who have gone before us. A number of working items can be demonstrated by the staff for that extra experience.
Visitors may turn up at the door on opening days, or call ahead for bookings such as larger groups and particularly associated historical groups such as car, truck or motorcycle or other interested clubs. It is even possible to arrange a morning tea for like-minded groups in order to exchange contacts, ideas and information. The display is considered live and plans are to rotate out sections and continually improve the village over time.

Upcoming events are advised through our Facebook page and we work closely with local business and sports groups to coordinate events and ensure we are available to accommodate visitors to Denman.
The Village houses an amount of reference material including books, collections of correspondence, reports, journals, manuals and the like. If you have a particular interest or project where you need background detail, please contact us and you might be surprised at what we can find out for you. The exhibits are well signed and the local staff may be able to fill any gaps or queries.
