The Exhibition has a theme for everyone!

Transport including 4 veteran cars from 1900 to 1913, 2 vintage cars, 2 post-vintage as well as classic cars including a Goggomobil, 3 trucks including a 1911 motorised wagon, 3 horse-drawn buggies and several motorbikes including a fully restored 1916 Indian Power Plus motorcycle with 1000cc engine.

Range of Agricultural displays including vintage tractors from a 1911 Mogel and 1920 Australian made Jelbert.  There is one of the oldest Caterpillar dozers in the world. Because of the Hunter Valley location and fertile soils, items from many specific fields include wool, dairy, wine, cropping and common tools, pest control instruments, the timber industry and mechanical devices. 
Farming tools include fencing equipment and strainers, display of barbed wire types, threshing, grinding, shelling, ploughing and harvesting.

Industry and engineering is represented by many historic stationary engines, pumps, 1883 Otto/ Crossley town-gas engine that powered the printing press at the Budget of Singleton, firefighting, harbour bridge construction, surveying equipment and BHP steel mill components. 

​The Military is represented by WW1 Australian Light Horse saddle, British horse-drawn water cart and aeroplane detector pre-radar.  WW2 items include a Ford Jeep, search lights, gas mask and display of local returned soldier personal items.

Recreational items include some 30 pedal cars! Toys, bikes (including a penny farthing, a rare children’s penny farthing and Les Darcy’s exercise bike), radios, phonographs, reproducing piano, sideshow pop corn maker and strongman measurement from Lunar Park. 
 

Business contributions include re-assembled post office, general store equipment, chemist, dentistry, barber, medical, ice cream store, freight scales and groceries. 

Domestic life is experienced with displays of laundry, food preparation and processing, cooking, sanitation (including historic vintage shower), storage and heating.

Fascination with Technology is piqued with the display of period telephones, electric generator, energy wheel, knife cleaning/ sharpening and rope making. 
General History including tools, photography, books, lawn mowers and signage.
