The Denman, Diesel, Rust and Dust Truck and Machinery Show
Every April, Denman holds a major show of machinery, with a particular emphasis on trucks as well as other vehicles, such as cars, tractors and motorbikes. Many of the exhibits are historic or collector items. The event is held on the recreation oval next to the Heritage Village whose doors are open and complement the experience for the visitors. BEFORE AND AFTER DISPLAY
Hornsby stationary engine restoration. This engine (circa 1906) was recently fired up after being idle for 70 years. Beautifully restored by the DDHV team and Denman Men's Shed. Special thanks to local MMS Engineering for sandblasting work.
This is a hot bulb oil engine, single cylinder that is pre-heated and can run on a variety of fuels including petrol, kerosene or fuel oil.
